William A. Capouillez “Bill” received his B.S. Degree in Earth and Mineral Sciences from Pennsylvania State University in 1987 and professional geologist license in 1994. Bill, is one of the original founders of the McVeytown Community Local Mission Service Foundation. Bill is currently both President and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation where he is largely responsible for the daily oversight and supervision of the Foundation’s development operations, religious outreach and youth athletic programs. Bill had 26 years’ experience working for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania before retiring as an Agency Bureau Director. Bill is a private consultant and is the sole proprietor of Geological Assessment & Leasing, an oil, gas and mineral consulting business located in McVeytown. Bill and his immediate family are partners of two limited liability corporations, the Capouillez Community Service LLC. and the Fur and Fowl Barn LLC., both of which provide a means for other local and regional charitable support goals of the Capouillez family. Additionally, Bill is a retired U.S. Army officer where throughout his career he held several mechanized infantry unit commands and staff positions at Company, Battalion and Brigade levels. Bill has over 18 years of experience in coaching youth athletics to include, football, baseball, basketball and wrestling and has served on various church boards, athletic associations, and community based organizational initiatives. He is a lifetime member of the Pennsylvania Trappers Association and also maintains memberships in the National Wild Turkey Federation, Pheasants Forever, the American Legion and the Masonic Blue Lodge.
Tracy received her B. A. Degree in Business Administration and an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University in 1988. Tracy is one of the original founders of the McVeytown Community Local Mission Service Foundation. Tracy is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the Foundation where she is largely responsible for the daily oversight and supervision of the Foundation’s financial and administrative operations, as well as related religious outreach and youth athletic logistical and personnel services. Tracy has over 30 years experience working as a business manager having held supervisory and managerial positions at Gardner’s Candies, Murata Erie Electronics and Geological Assessment & Leasing. Additionally, Tracy was employed by Tuscarora Intermediate Unit for over 3 years were she earned varied accreditations in teaching and counseling both youth and adults. Tracy and her immediate family are partners of two limited liability corporations, the Capouillez Community Service LLC. and the Fur and Fowl Barn LLC. She has served on various church boards, vacation bible schools, athletic associations, and numerous communities based organizational initiatives. She enjoys aerobic based fitness programs including Zumba® and cardiovascular fitness routines.
Sherry graduated from Lewistown Area High School with a curriculum emphasis in Business Management. She has resided in the McVeytown community with her husband and two children since 1997. Sherry served as an active board member and facilities manager for the McVeytown Playground Association, as well as serving as Secretary, Treasurer and Vice President for the association. Sherry has 10 years’ experience as the Strodes Mills Elementary School youth field day coordinator and 10 years’ experience as a Strodes Mills Elementary and Middle Schools Parent School Association member where she served as Secretary, Treasurer and President. For 6 years Sherry helped with the McVeytown Bible School volunteering as a teacher. Currently she works full-time as an accountant for an over- the-road trucking business, part-time as a secretary at Union Mills Division of Chemgro Inc and serves as the Oliver Township Tax Collector. Additionally, she has served as the Mifflin County Huskies football team Treasurer for the past three years. Sherry attends the Locust Grove Mennonite Church where she also works as the bank teller for the church finance committee.
Eric S. Dunmire
Eric graduated from a local area school district (Lewistown Area High School) with a curriculum emphasis in Academic, and holds an Associate Degree from Pennsylvania State Univesity in Electrical Engineering Technology. He has resided in the McVeytown community his entire life and is married with 2 children, both of which play youth sports in the community. Eric has been active member of varied religious outreach programs throughout the McVeytown Community to include a Bible School teacher for 10 ten years and a Youth Ministry Leader for 2 years, Eric has 2 years of experience working within the Mifflin County Conservation District Office where he was responsible for mapping and field survey work. Eric is currently the owner and operator Dunmire Excavating where he has worked for the last 23 years. He is involved in both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts where he has been a Den Leader for 3 years and a Master for 10 years. He is a referee of youth upward basketball program and has both CPR and First Aid expertise as well over 10 years professional experience as an Emergency Management Technician.
Michele received her Associate in Specialized Business Degree from South Hills Business School in 1995 and graduated from Mount Union Area High School in 1993. She was born and raised in McVeytown and currently lives in McVeytown with her husband and two sons, both of which play youth sports in the community. Michele and her family attend Pine Glen Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where she has served on the Fellowship Committee and has assisted with children’s ministry. Michele has worked in the Administrative Office at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital since 2000 and provides support to various Board level and Administrative Committees. Prior to that, she worked in the Special Education Department at the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit 11. Michele serves as the Secretary of the Foundation.
Pastor Donald E. Weidman (Honorary Member)
Pastor Weidman has a B.S. Degree (Theology) from Toccoa Falls College Toccoa, Georgia. He has been a clergyman since 1974 and was previously the owner and general manager of WQJU Radio Station in Mifflintown, PA for 8 years. He was the Director of Church Development for the Eastern PA District, Christian and Missionary Alliance for the 3 years, the Director of Church Planning for the Western PA District, Christian and Missionary Alliance for 3 years and has been the current Pastor of the Pine Glen Christian and Missionary Alliance for the last 3 years where he has been heavily involved in youth religious outreach programs in the McVeytown community. Pastor Weidman has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Summit Grove Christian Conference Center for the last 6 years, he has remained as the Corporate Secretary and Chairman of Policy and Bylaw Committee for the last 5 years. Pastor Weidman is also an active member of McVeytown Lions Club.
